ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship is a 501c3 non-profit organization that offers therapeutic riding lessons to children and adults with physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional and learning disabilities. Founded in 2007 by business and community leaders, Bill and Pris Darling, ManeGait has grown quickly. Because the horse provides a rhythmical, multi-dimensional movement similar to the human gait, the motion influences the rider's body and can facilitate improved flexibility, core strength and balance. Being able to control a large animal helps empowers riders and provides substantial emotional support. Confidence gains are a huge by-product of therapeutic riding. These profound accomplishments can be seen daily at ManeGait as well as witnessing the unique bonds formed between the riders, horses, instructors and volunteers. ManeGait is a true beacon in the numerous communities of North Texas.

CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS

Inside Stateroom (K, J): These staterooms with two lower beds that convert to a queen and a maximum capacity of four are beautifully appointed and surprisingly rooms. All staterooms feature a maximized living space with a completely unique bathroom treatment where every area is separate, including the shower and a modern vanity sink.
Balcony Stateroom (BG): Wake up to gorgeous views from the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to your private balcony. All staterooms feature a completely unique bathroom treatment where every area is separate, including the shower and a modern vanity sink. Additionally, the walls are curved, helping to create a modern and chic living experience. There are also two lower beds that convert to a queen and a sitting area in these staterooms with a capacity of three.
Family Deluxe Balcony Stateroom (D2): Bring the whole gang because this one is perfect for the kids. At a maximum capacity of four, these staterooms come with two lower beds that convert to a queen, one upper bed and a sofa bed. There's also curved walls, a sitting area. Luxury bath and a shower or tub and your own private balcony where the whole family can hang out and enjoy the view.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

• A $300 deposit is due with booking. 2nd payment of $400 is due July 1, 2010. Final payment is due Sept 1, 2010.
• If cancelled before July 1, 2010, a fee of $200 per person is assessed. If cancelled before Sept 1, a fee of $500 per person is assessed. If cancelled on or after Sept. 1, 2010, package is non-refundable.

• Insurance information will be provided. Please read the information carefully before sending payment to the insurance carrier.
• Legal first and last names must be given as stated on passport. (No nicknames) Name changes may be made up to 60 days prior to departure for $100 per name.
• Also, birth dates are required for ALL passengers.
• Please understand that vendors are very strict with regard to cancellation. No exceptions can be made.
