ITINERARY
Day 1
Fly from DFW to Milan
Day 2
Arrive Milan to Venice
Welcome to Milan, Italy's commercial and financial hub. After being met at the airport by your Trafalgar Tour Director you will be transferred to Venice. Hotels are typically ready after 3:00PM so you will have some time to have lunch and walk around before retiring for the evening.
Day 3
Venice
Today, see St Marks Basillica and watch a demonstration of glass-blowing at one of the oldest Murano workshops on the island. You have the rest of the day at leisure to explore this wonderful city. Meals (B)
Day 4
Venice - Florence
This morning, we travel to Florence. This city's rich medieval and Renaissance history is brought to life by your expert local guide. Visit the Accademia, home to Michelangelo's David and the Cathedral Dome. This evening enjoy a memorable Be My Guest dining experience. Meals (B, BG)
Day 5
Florence At Leisure
Spend the day on your own exploring the delights of this historic and picturesque city. As well as museums and galleries, there are beautiful gardens and wonderful palaces to discover, such as the Boboli and the Pitti Pallace. There are many villages just outside the city with wonderful markets where you can buy all manner of local specialities. Or shop for the latest fashions in Florence's elegant boutiques. Meals (B)
Day 6
Pisa - Santa Margherita Ligure
Today, visit Pisa to see the amazing Leaning Tower and Cathedral set in the Square of Miracles. Also, see the Baptistry. Later arrive to your hotel in the port city of Santa Margherita Ligure. Meals (B)
Day 7
La Spezia - Cinqueterre excursion
Enjoy an included excursion to see the CinqueTerre - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This magnificent coastline can only be reached by boat or train. This time experience this beautiful remote area via rail with your guide. Meals(B)
Day 8
Santa Margherita - Genoa - Milan
This morning pack your bags and bid farewell to the coastline . Stop in Genoa, birthplace of Columbus before arriving in Milan. Your expert Local Guide takes you on a city tour
of Milan, view the sights of the city including the Milan Cathedral and the Duomo. Meals (B)
Day 9
Milan - USA
This morning say 'arrivederci' to Italy as your fascinating vacation comes to an end. Meals (B)
