ITINERARY
Day 1
DFW to Savannah
Fly from DFW to Savannah. Your evening will be free to enjoy this quaint city.
Day 2
Historic Tour and Ghost Tour
This morning you will board our private Trolley for a Historic Overview tour of Savannah. Founded in 1733, Savannah is one of America’s finest preserved cities and considered a jewel of the south. You will enjoy a comprehensive, completely narrated guided tour of one of the largest National Urban Historic Landmarked Districts in the U.S. You will be transported through more than 270 years of American History. Ride along cobblestone paved streets beneath moss-draped oaks and experience the “Old South” with her stately mansions, beautiful squares, romantic riverfront and abundance of artifacts. After your tour, you will have the afternoon at your leisure to further explore the city.
Tonight we have a very special tour in store. Embark on a journey into the dark side of America’s “Most Haunted City”. Spend an evening discovering why Savannah is plagued by more than its share of paranormal activity. New doors will be opened to the “spirits & ghosts” of Savannah. Besides our paranormal ghost tour, this package includes a buffet dinner at the legendary Pirate’s House, which is well known for its haunting and ghostly legends. And for the first time in many years, enter into the Rum Cellar, entryway for the tunnels. This was the path many men took for the last time in Savannah or on this earth! This tour will satisfy your craving for both good food and good ghosts! (B, D)
Day 3
Paula Deen Tour
This morning, after breakfast, you will begin your Paula Deen tour. Join us for a peek into the life of famous southern cooking entrepreneur, Paula Deen. Visit a few of the shops the Paula frequented, and still showcases, on her way to establishing one of the popular restaurants in Savannah, The Lady and Sons. Get to know Paula like Savannah knows Paula and sample some of the low country’s best at Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House. This tour includes lunch and a few surprises which are sure to give you an appetite for the “Good Ole South” and Paula Deen! The rest of the afternoon and evening are at your leisure. (B, L)
Day 4
Savannah
Today is free to explore the city. Stroll the streets, eat, shop, etc. Tonight we will say “Farewell” to Savannah with a bang… Dinner at Paula’s restaurant, The Lady and Sons. The restaurant is just a short walk around the corner from our hotel. Enjoy the “southern buffet” at 8PM. (B,D)
Day 5

This morning, you will have time for any last minute sightseeing, before we say so long to Savannah, and transfer to the airport for our flight home. (B)
