Casey Carr, General Manager
Casey is the General Manager of Sharon Carr Travel, Travel Guru on ABC’s Good Morning Texas, former host of Dallas 98.7 KLUV Radio’s KLUV World Tour with Miles in the Morning, an award-winning filmmaker, public speaker and Sharon’s son.
Growing up at Sharon Carr Travel stuffing envelopes and helping his mom, Casey’s love for travel started early. He eventually took his first industry job with Cruise West onboard the Spirit of Glacier Bay in Oregon & Washington, and then with Carnival Cruise Lines onboard the Carnival Pride in the Caribbean, before joining Sharon Carr Travel full time in 2003.
In 2012 he opened Globe Trek Productions, where as Creative Director he has produced films for Uniworld River Cruise Lines, Atlas Ocean Voyages, Lazy Bear Expeditions, African Travel Inc. and many more. Casey is a 6 time Travel Weekly Magellan Award Winner. He also created the popular Busking music series with The Dallas Observer, featuring local & international touring bands like Charley Crockett, The Old 97’s, Robert Earl Keen and The Bacon Brothers, among many others during 40+ episodes.
Casey has visited all 7 continents multiple times over, and has experienced every facet of the travel industry inside and out. He is an expert in Ocean Cruises, River Cruises, Expedition Cruises, Africa Safari, Guided Tours, Exotic Vacations and Group & Independent Travel.
