Day 1 | Friday, August 22, 2025 | Overnight Flight

Wander along medieval walls, marvel at enchanting waterfalls, and relax on sunny islands. From Dubrovnik to Zagreb, set out to experience the best of Croatia and the Adriatic Coast.

 

Day 2 | Saturday, August 23, 2025 | Dubrovnik, Croatia – Tour Begins – Board Ship

Welcome to Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” This afternoon you’ll board a private 4-star ship and revel in all of the luxuries of a small cruise ship. Relax onboard before experiencing a captain’s welcome dinner. Enjoy your meal accompanied by live Klapa music, the traditional Croatian style of singing. (D)

Day 3 | Sunday, August 24, 2025 | Dubrovnik – Slano

This morning, take in the medieval stone walls, iconic Baroque rooftops, and winding cobblestone streets of Dubrovnik. Embrace the feeling that you’ve stepped into another time as you explore the Old City with a local guide. During this walk, be prepared to navigate stairs and trek carefully across slippery limestone pavement. With free time, perhaps you’ll visit the famous City Walls. In the early afternoon, your journey continues to Slano, a port town just outside of Dubrovnik. Enjoy your afternoon on a scenic bus excursion discovering the unspoiled beauty on stunning Pelješac – Dalmatian largest peninsula. Learn about the traditions of viticulture and winemaking and enjoy dinner in a local restaurant before returning to your ship docked in Slano. (B, L, D)

Day 4 | Monday, August 25, 2025 | Slano – Mljet National Park – Korcula

This morning, arrive in Mljet National Park. Stroll beside its two saltwater lakes, Big Lake and Small Lake, before exploring the Islet of St. Mary, home to a 12th-century Benedictine monastery. Here, be prepared for some stairs and walking on uneven ground. Then, it’s on to Korcula, the debated home of one of the world’s most famous explorers: Marco Polo. Decide for yourself if he was born in Korcula or Venice as you tour his purported home and take in the fantastic sea views. Join a local guide and make your way along the narrow stone streets while you wander among the medieval buildings and vibrant houses in the town known as “Little Dubrovnik.” Enjoy the evening at leisure to discover the charms of this age-old island town. (B, L)

Day 5 | Tuesday, August 26, 2025 | Korcula

Cruise on to Vis, a small island overflowing with Renaissance architecture and beautiful beaches. With free time this afternoon, relax onboard and enjoy a leisurely evening, or consider an optional excursion to experience more of this breathtaking island. (B, L)

Day 6 | Wednesday, August 27, 2025 | Vis – Biševo – Stari Grad – Hvar – Stari Grad

Embark on a morning cruise to the island of Biševo. This island is home to the Blue Cave,* a stunning grotto with a luminous blue glow. Return to the ship and cruise to the sunny island of Hvar. Upon arrival in Stari Grad, a port town on Hvar, join a scenic bus tour to Hvar Town, enjoying spectacular views of the island and the Adriatic Sea. Top off your afternoon with a guided walking tour of Hvar Town, followed by time on your own to stroll its hidden corners or dine in one of Hvar’s many local, family-owned restaurants before returning to the ship. Day 7 | Thursday, August 28, 2025 | Hvar – Bol – Trogir

Start your day in the town of Bol, located on the picturesque island of Brac. With free time this morning, perhaps you’ll choose to swim along the shore of the “Golden Cape,” known to be one of the most popular beaches in Croatia. Return to the ship for lunch, then it’s off to Trogir, a coastal gem renowned for its picturesque Venetian architecture. Admire the striking stone houses and towering cathedral as you tour the city with a local guide. (B, L)

Day 8 | Friday, August 29, 2025 | Trogir – Split

Your adventure continues! Discover Split, one of the oldest cities in this historic region. In this bustling port, explore Diocletian’s Palace. One of Croatia’s UNESCO World Heritage sites, Emperor Diocletian chose the palace to be his retirement home because of the incomparable beauty of Split. A guided tour takes you through the mysterious passageways and into the lower levels of this massive structure. Then, it’s your choice! Visit the Ethnographic Museum of Split, located in the former residential complex of Diocletian’s Palace and showcasing the traditional costumes, crafts and culture of Split and surrounding areas from past centuries -OR- explore more of the Diocletian’s Palace during a visit to its substructure. Set below the imperial apartments, this represents one of the best-preserved ancient complexes of its kind in the world. (B, D)

Day 9 | Saturday, August 30, 2025 | Split – Disembark Ship – Šibenik – Vodice

Disembark your ship in Split and journey towards Šibenik. Join a local guide on a walking tour through the ancient alleyways and roads of this beautiful town where you’ll see the Cathedral of St. James – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy your free time in town for lunch before you head to Vodice. Tonight, embrace the culture of Croatia as you learn about prosciutto production and enjoy a traditional Dalmatian dinner at a family-run, farm-to-table restaurant. (B, D)

 

Day 10 | Sunday, August 31, 2025 | Vodice – Krka National Park – Vodice

This morning, venture to the breathtaking Krka National Park, where waterfalls tumble through dramatic gorges. Meander along the trails that surround the falls before embarking on a boat ride that takes you along the river to Skradin.* Make the most of your free evening to enjoy the beautiful coastal town of Vodice. Day 11 | Monday, September 1, 2025 | Vodice – Zagreb

This morning, travel to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia! Step right into the history and culture of everyday life as you tour the city with a local guide. Become acquainted with the city as you see the main sights of the capital, the Croatian Parliament building, the illustrious Zagreb Cathedral, and the legendary Stone Gate. Tonight, raise a glass and say živjeli (to life) as you toast your Croatian journey over dinner featuring traditional continental cuisine. (B, D)

Day 12 | Tuesday, September 2, 2025 | Zagreb – Tour Ends

Exploration awaits you on this beautiful island tour through Vis. Hop into an off-road vehicle with your guide and set out on a panoramic drive towards the highest peak of the island, Hum. You’ll take in stunning island views and learn the history as you make your way towards the viewing point of the WWII airport. After, visit the historic St. George Fort and learn about its significant past on the island. Discover the underground tunnels and secrets of the former Yugoslav Army before making your way to a delicious dinner. At a restaurant located in the heart of the Vis town, enjoy traditional Croatian dishes as you look out towards the breathtaking views of the sea.

Day 2 | Dubrovnik, Croatia – Tour Begins

Say hello to Dubrovnik – a medieval city perched against a seaside mountain. Discover a coastal fairytale where immoveable stone buildings meet bright blue waters. With your Tour Manager, join the locals on public transportation and make your way to the Old Town. Savor the Croatian cuisine and charming atmosphere of a small family restaurant tucked within the winding alleyways. (D)

Day 3 | Dubrovnik – Cavtat – Dubrovnik

This morning, discover Dubrovnik’s timeless beauty by exploring the city with the help of your Tour Manager. Perhaps you’ll discover Dubrovnik’s timeless secrets, like the medieval stone walls that make up the winding fortress that serves as a backdrop for endless filming locations. Feel the ancient stone beneath your hands and marvel at the sparkling Adriatic Sea in the distance. With the city laid out before you, follow the twisting cobblestone streets that cut through the red rooftops. In the afternoon, join your Tour Manager and head towards Cavtat. Take in breathtaking views, rich architectural history, and vibrant culture. Walk along the enchanting waterfront and venture to the Racic Family Mausoleum. This octagonal white-stone tomb is the handiwork of preeminent Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic. In the wooded area near the peak of the peninsula, you’ll find the most spectacular views. Cap off your afternoon with free time for dinner on your own. Wander into one of the many charming restaurants on Cavtat’s iconic waterfront. (B)

Day 4 | Dubrovnik – Board Ship

Spend your morning in Dubrovnik before your adventure continues when you board your ship for a 7-night cruise along the Adriatic coast. (B)

Payments – A deposit of $898 per person is due with booking and final payment is due no later than April 1, 2025.

Cancellations – If cancelled before April 1, 2025 a penalty of $600 per person is assessed. If cancelled on or after April 1, 2025, package is totally non refund able.  All cancellations must be in writing by email.  If Collette Travel Protection is purchased, trip is fully refundable for any reason, minus the cost of the travel protection.

Identification

Passports are required for this tour at your expense. Certain countries require a minimum of 6 months passport validity from date of return home. You are strongly urged to contact the appropriate consulate for details. Visit www.travel.state.gov for the U.S. State Department for the latest details about passports and visa requirements.

IMPORTANT: We recommend that our clients traveling abroad take a photocopy of their passport and applicable visas. It should be packed separately from your actual passport and visa. We also recommend leaving a copy at home with your emergency contact.

The days and order of sightseeing may change to best utilize your time on tour. Order of sightseeing on board the ship may vary based on departure and weather conditions and is at the sole discretion of the cruise line.

To complete your tour, we include roundtrip airport-to-hotel transfers when purchasing our airfare with your tour. If you have arranged for your own air, we are pleased to provide you the option of purchasing these transfers. Please note that all transfers will leave at pre-scheduled times.

*The optional Krka National Park Tour operates on a weather-permitting basis.

Single accommodations are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Triple rooms are not available.

The overall activity level of this tour is a level 3. This means you’re an on-the-go traveler. You don’t want to miss a thing, so walking and standing for longer periods of time (1-2 hours) isn’t a big deal. You can navigate hills and uneven ground, climb into various modes of transportation (tuk-tuk, cable car, Zodiac, etc.), and could possibly anticipate changes in elevation. You can expect some longer days balanced with free-time to recharge or set out on your own adventure.

Onboard gratuities are not included in the price of your tour. Suggested tipping on board cruise: 13.50 US dollars (10-12 euros) per person for each day for the cruise staff. This can be made in a single payment in euros or US dollars at the front desk at the end of your voyage or by the envelopes provided in your cabin.

Please be advised many airlines do not provide advance seat assignments until check-in at the airport. Advance seating will be subject to the airline’s terms and conditions.

Stateroom numbers will be supplied upon arrival at the ship.

 Embarkation is after 1:00 p.m. On the last day, disembarkation is no later than 9:00 a.m.
