Day 1 | March 23, 2025 | Overnight Flight

Experience a true taste of “Irish Splendor” on a trip that combines 4-star accommodations, stunning scenery and tasty local cuisine. Make a return to times past when you join us on an unforgettable tour of the Emerald Isle’s splendor.

 

Day 2 | March 24, 2025 | Dublin, Ireland – Tour Begins

Your tour opens in Dublin, Ireland’s historic capital city. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for dinner at a local farm-to-table restaurant. (D)

 

Day 3 | March 25, 2025 | Dublin

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Dublin, the “Fair City.” Take in the lively atmosphere of O’Connell Street, the city’s main thoroughfare dotted with monuments and historic buildings, and charming Grafton Street with its galleries, boutiques and pubs. See Trinity College before touring medieval Christ Church Cathedral and its imposing crypt. Then, enjoy some free time to independently explore the cultural offerings of delightful Dublin. Later, you may join an optional tour to the Guinness Storehouse, followed by a traditional Irish evening with dinner and an Irish dancing performance. (B)

 

Day 4 | March 26, 2025 | Dublin – Killarney

Depart Dublin for Ireland’s breathtaking countryside. Visit the town of Cashel for views of the historic Rock of Cashel, the reputed location where St. Patrick preached and converted the King of Munster. Next, journey to historic Blarney Castle where you’ll have the opportunity to kiss the famous Blarney Stone. Legend has it that those who kiss the stone are bestowed with the gift of eloquence. End your day in Killarney, an Irish town surrounded by natural landscapes and beauty. Enjoy dinner this evening at a local restaurant. (B, D)

 

Day 5 | March 27, 2025 | Killarney – Dingle Peninsula – Killarney

Set off this morning to follow what is perhaps Ireland’s most majestic coastal route – the stunning Dingle Peninsula. Travel to the town of Dingle and drive the beautiful Slea Head road, where some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes are found. (B)

 

Day 6 | March 28, 2025 | Killarney – Cliffs of Moher – Ennis

Today, experience the customs and daily life of a traditional Irish family and enjoy homemade scones and tea during a memorable visit to the Molanna Dairy Farm. Continue to the stunning 700-foot-high Cliffs of Moher for awe-inspiring views of the mighty Atlantic and the Aran Islands. End your day in the charming town of Ennis. Enjoy the ambience of your historic hotel, and feel the warmth of Irish hospitality. This evening you may join an optional tour to a Medieval Banquet dinner, which is hosted in a castle. (B)

 

Day 7 | March 29, 2025 | Ennis – Whiskey Distillery – Castle Stay

Start your day with a cross-country journey to Irish whiskey territory. During a visit to a historic distillery, learn the process of whiskey making and delight in a tasting of the final product. Top your day off with an overnight stay on the regal grounds of a historic castle where you toast the end of a fabulous trip during your farewell dinner. (B, D)

 

Day 8 | March 30, 2025 | Kingscourt – Tour Ends

LIMERICK – MEDIEVIL BANQUET – $115 pp

In a beautiful land of rolling green fields, ancient battlefields and medieval fortresses once inhabited by generations of clansmen, you can conjure up a world filled with lords and ladies, knights and damsels as you experience a true medieval banquet hosted in a real castle! The 15th century magically comes to life the moment you enter the castle. Sip honey-rich mead and admire the ornate tapestries and royal furnishings before sitting down for a sumptuous four-course meal and some fine wine suitable for toasting the royal court. Spirits run high with delightful song and dance performances reminiscent of this unique period.

Duration: Approximately 4 hours. Please note a minimum of 15 passengers is required. Transportation is included.

DUBLIN – THE GUINNESS STOREHOUSE AND TRADITIONAL IRISH NIGHT – $115 pp

This culinary and cultural adventure begins at the Guinness Storehouse, Ireland’s top international visitor attraction. Explore the brewing process behind this beloved beverage and learn how to pour the perfect pint. At its spectacular Gravity Bar, enjoy a sweeping 360º view of Dublin as you savor a complimentary pint. Next, come to know Ireland’s famed welcoming spirit, lively music and dynamic dancing during a fun filled evening of Irish entertainment at its very best. You will become Irish for the night as you take in the local entertainment and savor some of Ireland’s most traditional dishes, such as homemade soda bread and Dublin coddle. The Irish dancers will dazzle you and the traditional Irish ballads will touch your heart. This toe-tapping evening will take you on a journey that captures the true local flavor in a welcoming setting that immerses you in the magic of Irish culture that is rich in tradition and cheer. Reservations will not be accepted within 7 days of departure.

PAYMENTS: A non refundable deposit of $900 per person is due with reservation.  Final payment is due Dec 23, 2024. Payments may be made by check, cash, or zelle.  If paying with a credit card, a 5% fee is assessed. (We accept MC, VI & AX).

CANCELLATIONS: If cancelled on or after 12/23/24, package is totally non refundable.  INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENED.

THIS TOUR IS ACTIVITY LEVEL 1:  You’re a leisurely traveler. You typically take it easy and discover the energy of a new place by people-watching or soaking in the atmosphere at a local café. You can climb at least one flight of stairs, board a coach, and walk unassisted at a relaxed pace for up to 60 minutes without difficulty. You can easily handle altitudes up to 5,000 feet.

INSURANCEInsurance is highly recommended.  Please contact Sharon Carr Travel for a quote.  SCT can book the insurance for you after your trip deposit is made.  Please note “cancel anytime” insurance must be done at the same time as the deposit.  It does have restrictions and only repays 80% of the trip cost.  Insurance does not cover a pandemic.
