On arrival you will be met and transferred to Lukimbi Safari Lodge or Hamilton’s Tented Camp where you will spend 2-nights including all meals and twice daily safari activities. The Lukimbi Safari Lodge is situated in the easily accessible southern portion of the Kruger National Park. Kruger is home to the Big Five – Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard – and a wide variety of other animals and birds, which roam freely in their natural habitat. All the spacious suites combine luxury and modern African decor with private decks and river views. Each suite has a spacious bathroom that looks directly onto the bush, inside and outside shower and separate toilet. Tuesday – 25 May 2021 – Greater Kruger Park
Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game viewing activities in this world-famous famous national park, which will include an open Landrover game drive and a safari walk. After breakfast, you can join qualified guides on a bush walk, which is not more than two hours. This is a great opportunity to see some of the smaller creatures and plants up close, not to mention some of the larger wildlife in their natural environment.
Accommodation: Lukimbi Safari Lodge – 13x Classic Suites & 1x Premier Suite or
Hamiltons Tented Camp – 5x Tented Suites (B, L, D)
IMPORTANT NOTE: For the 2 nights at either Lukimbi or Hamiltons, the group will not be together. Those staying at Lukimbi will have meals together and those staying at Hamiltons; likewise. The two lodges are not close. My family and I will most likely stay at Lukimbi since that will be the larger group. This will all depend on client preferences. My first choice would be the tents but we only have 5.
Wednesday – 26 May 2021 – Kruger Park/Kapama

Illuminated by firelight and starry skies, diners will enjoy diverse and tasteful cuisine conjured by chefs right before them. Open fires are often used for cooking too, in true African style. Set off on your first open vehicle game this afternoon – sure to be an exciting experience! Don’t forget to take a light sweater, insect repellent, your camera and binoculars!

Return to the lodge, allowing time to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner. Evening meals are often enjoyed seated around a roaring fire in the Rhino Boma. Alternatively enjoy a romantic dinner in the dry riverbed in front of the lodge, under a star-studded African night sky.
