What are the new cleaning & safety protocols aboard American Airlines flights?

Recently we were invited out to DFW Airport for a demonstration of American Airlines’ extensive new cleaning & safety protocols aboard every flight. Though most of our presentation was inside the plane, AA and DFW Airport have also implemented an almost touch-free experience inside the airport, from check-in through boarding and even at the Admirals Club.  Airlines & airports around the world have taken the safety & security of their passengers perhaps more seriously than any industry in the world, and that certainly is contributing to the excellent safety record that air travel has enjoyed so far.

This is due in no small part to due efforts of AA’s partner ABM, who is responsible for the substantial new cleaning protocols onboard every flight.  On top of a thorough hands-on cleaning, plane interiors are then coated in a safe and effective anti-microbial treatment administered with an electrostatic sprayer, which atomizes particles with a positive charge, causing them to bond to every surface.  Watch our video below for the full demonstration!
